Vestennia Ruth Lowrance

Vestennia Ruth Lowrance 69, of 343 Forest Street was granted her wings on Friday, May 16, 2025 in Belmont Health And Rehabilitation Center in Gastonia, NC.  

Native of Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Bill Hampton and the late Bettie Gene Forney Jones, and a former machine operator for Sydner Cotton Mill.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Hampton, a daughter, Denise Hampton and a brother Kemper Lee Hampton.  

Surviving are: a daughter, Michelle Hampton; brothers, Gerald and Jamerson Jones; sisters, Pattis (McDonald) Wingo, Kimberly Dukes and Sonya Jones, all of Forest City, NC, Carolyn Dover of Ellenboro, NC and Annie Alexander of Charlotte, NC; a grandchild, Tiquelle Devonne (Whitney) Hampton and his mother, Michelle; a great-grandchild, Kaylee (Whitney) Hampton; special friends, Dale and Bobby Lovette of Forest City, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The Family is receiving friends at the home.   

Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 25, 2025 in Hardin Road Park, 389 Hardin Road in Forest City, NC. A balloon Release will follow services.
