A native of Burlington, NC, he was a son of the late William David and Ruby Brummitt Goodman and a former employee of Fluor Daniel in Greenville, SC
He is survived by a sister; Carolyn Goodman Harris of Gibsonville, NC and a special friend, Myra Byrd of Greer, SC; a host of other relatives and many friends.
