Yolanda Mekio Foster

Yolanda Mekio Foster, age 45, of  145 Chelsea Street, was called from labor to reward on December 19, 2022 in Spartanburg, SC.

Native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of  Timothy Foster of Woodruff, SC and Julia Faye Bomar Foster of the home.

Educated in the Public Schools of Greenville, County, she was a graduate of Greer, High School class of 1997, where she was a member of the Band Color Guard, a former Inventory Control Inspector for VIS LLC in Greer, SC and a member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

She loved traveling, going to the movies and to amusement parks to ride the roller coasters.

Also surviving are: a son, Isaac Nathaniel Simuel; a daughter, Iyania M. Simuel, both of the home; brothers, Timothy Bruce (Ruby) Foster Jr. of Boiling Springs, SC and Mario O’Brian Foster of the home; a sister, Amber Foster of Greenville, SC; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Chuch with the pastor, Rev. Leon Wright, officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
