Mrs. Annie Beatrice Irby

Woodruff: Mrs. Annie Beatrice Irby 83 of 142 Shennandale Circle, died Tuesday, July 26 at her residence.

Native of Union County, SC, a daughter of the late Joe Lott and the late Louise Rice, a former employee of Carolina Fiber in Spartanburg, and a member of Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church in Duncan, SC.

 Surviving are : 2 sons, Leroy Irby of Wellford and Earl Irby of Greer, SC; a daughter, Lori Smith of Duncan, SC; sisters, Mrs. Betty Jean Simmons of Cincinnati, OH, Mrs. Sarah Norman and Mrs. JoAnne Jones, both of Union, SC; a brother, Benny Norman of Woodruff, SC; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 7, 2016 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Courtney Cohen, Officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Her remains will lie in state at the Mortuary from 12:00 noon until the hour of services.
