Hi. My name is Susanna Phillips and I knew Davorious when we were in fifth and sixth grade. I know we didn't know each other long but we became such good friends. It's bittersweet to know that he would've been 17 years old today. My heart goes out to his family because I cannot imagine what they are going through. Today and March 15th will always be hard and all I can hope is that I'll see him again someday.

As a complete stranger, hearing this tragic accident in Midland, Tx, I am completely heart broken. Our deepest sympathy and many prayers for Peace and God's love to you all. My condolence to the family. Losing a loved one to death is the hardest thing to deal with. We can draw comfort from the Bible account of the resurrection of Jesus' friend, Lazarus, recorded at John 11:1-44 paying special attention to verses 11-14, 25, 26, 33-35, 43. One day we too will see our loved ones again as promised at Revelation 21:3-5 and Psalm 37:11, 29. Until that day comes please draw comfort from Jeremiah 29:11, 12. There Jehovah says when we pray to him, he will listen.

Our son, Noah was in Da'Vorius' class at BSIS. We were all so devastated to hear of his passing. Noah really looked up to him as an athlete, and thought he was a sweet, caring, and kind soul. We are so sorry for your unimaginable loss. We are in heavy prayer for your family. We take comfort in knowing he is resting in Jesus' arms.
