Dearest Mott, Marshea, Marissa & Family:
Words cannot adequately express my heartfelt LOVE, PRAYERS and condolences extended to each of you at this time. Marsha (aka: Tiny) has been my dearest FRIEND and baby SISTER for nearly 35 years. My heart is truly saddened by her passing. She has been and will eternally remain an intricate part of my life and ministry. Wow! What an encouraging soul and phenomenal PRAISE & WORSHIP Leader she has been. Ohhh, how she could carry devotion service all by herself and have CHuRrrrrChhhh! WhewwWeeee! I loved "tag teaming" songs with her like: Can You Feel God Moving?, It's Been A Long Uphill Journey and she would always "push me to praise" When I would lead: Ohhh, Let's Have Church! Classic times and memories with a very classy lady. Indeed, life and ministry will never be the same. Fervently continuing to pray for each of you; as the peace of God sustains your heart, soul and mind through Jesus Christ. Truly, I, love you all dearly!
Respectfully Yours,
Apostle Stacy T. Glover, Presiding Prelate

To: Pastor Cartwright, The Daughters, Riser and Smith Family, We want you to know you are in our prayers during this very hard and difficult time. Minister Marsha will truly be missed. She was a sincere and devoted praise and worship leader who truly knew how to usher you into the presence of God. Such a sweet individual who every time we saw her had a smile on her face that would brighten up your day. Such a cool down to earth, kind soul. We feel very privilege to have known her. May you hold on to all the memories you shared. May you also draw strength from the love of those that surround you with love and prayers. Love you all!!

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… When coping with the loss of a loved one, the first, and sometimes the most persistent question is why? God within his permissive will permits us to ask why? However, God within his perfect will is not obligated to answer why! It’s at these hours that we must, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

To the family of Minister Marsha Smith, I pray that you will find consolation in this thought…. “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.” Marsha is that person! Measure her life not by its duration, but by her donation to all who were privileged to cross her path.

Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our mind holds the memories. Our heart keeps the love. Our faith lets us know we will meet again.

Rest easy my sista, Parting is such sweet sorrow…

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Family, words cannot express the loss of this young lady, she had a beautiful spirit and was loved by many of her coworkers. When I met Marsha I knew she was a wonderful person to be around, and most of all she had a sense of humor that kept you laughing all the time, so it's so hard to grasp at knowing that she will no longer be here to lift us up in Training classes. I am thankful to have had the chance to know her, so rest in heaven my friend, you will not be forgotten.
