Reece W. Smith

Spartanburg: Mr. Reece W. Smith , of 312 Earl Drive, died Monday, February 1, 2016  at his residence.

Native of Greenville County, he was a son of Reece Griffin  and the late Geneva Martin Smith, and a step son of the late Waymond Smith,  a member of Bethel  United Methodist Church in Greer, SC and a former employee of Homelite and Honeywell.

He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Pearson.

Surviving are : his wife, Rhonda Smith; a son, Ramond and Demetraz Smith; a daughter, Pamela Daniel; a stepson Roger Poulnott; stepdaughters, Tamela and April Poulnott; brothers, Rev. Calvin Smith, Michael Smith, Eddie Smith, O’dell Smith, Wayne Griffin, Reggie Griffin, Butch Griffin and Ronald Griffin; sisters, Beverly, Valerie and Charlene Griffin; 2 grandchildren;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be  held 3:00 pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Calvin L. Smith, officiating.
