Albert Lee “ Prunell” Kelley, Sr.

Greer, SC:  Albert Lee Kelley, Son of the late Theodore Black  and Carrie Lee Kelley died Thursday, March 24, 2017  in  St. Francis Hospital-Downtown.

A native of Spartanburg County SC, he was educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, former employee of Greer Country Club and Spartanburg County School District # 5.

He was preceded in death by wife, Elwillie Kelley; two siblings, James Kelley and Robert Young and a son, Otis Michael Kelly.  

 Surviving are: sons, Steven Allen Kelly of Greenville, SC, and Albert Lee “Sweet Pea” Kelly of Greer, SC; daughters, Iris Kelly Stroble of Greer, SC and Tina Alfreda Kelly (Minister Roy) Gary of Greenville; a sister, Rose Mallory of Spartanburg, SC; 48 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews, a host of other relatives and many friends.

Public viewing will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary .

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday April 2, 2017 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Leepolian Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens
